Stakeholder-engagement on assessment of implementation considerations for food-policy interventions for prevention of overweight and obesity in Kenya and evaluation of the engagement process

Background Global prevalence of overweight and obesity continues to rise, underscoring the need for context-specific evidence to guide policy. Our previous modelling showed that promoting indigenous foods, a 20% sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) tax, and kilojoule menu labelling in Kenyan restaurants were health-promoting and cost-effective.
