Bacterial invasion of the pancreas revealed after analyses of the pancreatic cyst fluids

The involvement of bacterial translocation (BT) in the promotion of carcinogenesis has gained a considerable attention in the last years. At this point however BT has not been studied in the context of pancreatic cystic lesions and their development into pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
